The US 50 East Corridor Study was organized as an inclusive, open planning effort which led to opportunities for the Nevada Department of Transportation to achieve the access management goals of the study. The flexible nature of open inclusive planning allowed the parties to organize with the assistance of the planning process facilitator the means to accomplish the study’s goals.
