This report review methods available to local governments to preserve right of way for transportation corridors and current best practices. It summarizes highlights of a larger study of corridor preservation techniques conducted for the North West Florida Regional Planning Council, which included development of a model comprehensive plan amendments, a model ordinance, and a corresponding training program.
