• Develop objective and clear process for selection of left-turn lanes at unsignalized intersections
• Provide guidance on the design of left-turn lanes

Conclusions

• Left-turn lane warrants developed for:
  • Rural two-lane highways
  • Rural four-lane highways
  • Urban and suburban (two or four-lane) roadways
• Methodology can be used with local cost values
